These are the photos I took on the field trip to the Kangaroo Valley area as well as 3 photos of the field upon which I was a goal umpire.

This is a shot of a mountaintop that I took when we were driving in the Kangaroo Valley area. This was taken at an ISO of 400, the highest my camera allows, from a car moving at around 100 km/h.

This is typical foliage in the Minnamurra Rainforest. 

This is a shot of one of 2 bridges that span some ravines in the rainforest. They are made of wood and steel chords. 

This is a shot looking across the same bridge. 

In the Minnamurra Rainforest there are several brooks, like this one.

This is a shot of a brook as seen from a bridge. I am looking directly down on a small rapid along the brook. 

This is a shot of a brook and some surrounding boulders which have been dated to more than 200 million years of age.

This is a shot looking up into the canopy of the trees. I can only estimate that they were 30 meters, if not more, tall. 

This is a picture of all of the field trip participants gathered around the trunk of a single gargantuan tree. 

This is a small, maybe 50 centimeter high, "waterfall" in the rainforest. 

This is a dead, but still tall, tree in the Minnamurra Rainforest. 

This is a lyrebird which I spied running through the parking lot. 

This is the large and famous tail of the lyrebird. 

This is the first of 3 photos I took of a valley on the field trip. Approaching sunset, the group stopped at a lookout and we were treated to this view.

This is the first of 3 photos of the footy field where I was an umpire. It is located in the near-rural suburb of Richmond and as you can see, the surroundings are quite picturesque.
